Karaya One by Harley Copic

Alamo Aviation Art is very pleased to announce we have secured a copy of Karaya One by Harley Copic and signed by the legendary Erich Hartmann. Hartmann was the leading ace of all time with 352 aerial combat victories in the Me109 on the Eastern Front. The Russians knew him by his call sign "Karaya One" and later called him the "Black Devil of the South". On July 1, 1944 he reached 301 victories and was awarded the Diamonds to his Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. He fought P-51 Mustangs in the closing days of the war and though ordered to surrender to the British, he stayed with his men and spent 10 years in a Soviet prison. This print was published in 1983 and consequently is now very scarce, particularly in un-mounted condition with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The artwork is superb, the signature unmatched.

We appreciate your business. Bob
